- 2008: Emitech, Inc was recognized as one of ten success stories in the state as published in Annual Report for 2008 of Massachusetts Small Business Development Center.
- April 25, 2008: Emitech was awarded with a Phase II SBIR (Army) for the project titled "Mid-IR, Uncooled Photodetectors Based on Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes."
- April 18, 2008: The explosive detector prototype was successfully demonstrated at the U.S. Army facilities, TARDEC.
- April 11, 2007: Dr. I. A. Levitsky gave an oral presentation "Porous Silicon Microcavity Coupled with Fluorescence Polymer as a Sensor for the Detection of Explosives" on MRS Spring Meeting, San Francisco, April 9-13, 2007.
- February 28, 2007: Mrs. M. Katayeva, President of Emitech was recognized by the National Republican Congressional Committee as an Honorary Chairman with the National Leadership Award.
- December 27, 2006: Emitech was awarded by the Phase II SBIR (Army) for the project titled "Highly Sensitive and Selective Optochemical Sensors Based on Organic-Inorganic Nanocomposite for Real-Time, Standoff Detection of Vehicle-Borne IEDs"
